Bagels and Fish!?

Yom Kipur is today, also known as Day of Atonement. Usually the 25-hour holiday is spent fasting, with a wonderful feast at the end of the day – breaking fast together. Of course, I’ll be taking part in the “breaking fast” and cannot wait to taste all the incredible food!

As far as food goes, my suggestion is to not judge it by it’s appearance. Who would have put bagels and fish toether? It’s delicious! As I ween some gluten and milk out of my diet, bagels and lox is definitely up there on the things I miss list.

Have you ever been to a Jewish “breakfast”? What was your favorite dish!?

Noodle Kugel , Mini Bagel, Cupcake

Yom Kippur dinner is one of my favorite meals of the year! I made kugel for the first time this year and not to toot my own horn, but it’s pretty darn delicious! I can’t wait to share it with my family and friends tonight. Good yontif!
