Danielle (my sister, best friend, and business partner) had major knee surgery a couple weeks ago, and had to spend a lot of time sitting on the couch, asking for help (which was really hard for her). The week of her surgery, a friend and I raided every bulk food section you can imagine, as well as the magazine aisles.
Sometimes I feel like a fraud, calling these DIY’s because they’re just so easy! I first raided the bulk food section, and then I just made little “RX” labels for each candy that I put into cello sleeves. I think the whole process took an hour and a half (shopping took about an hour), but the hardest part was not eating all the open candy.
Danielle is on the mend, and cannot wait to run again! Got a friend who needs a basket like this? Just head to target, or a candy store, and fill up a cute bag or basket! The cello sleeves were perfect for the bulk candy, and the labels were just printed on Avery sticker paper (easy peasy right?!)
I can’t wait to see what you create!
