Do you ever have to stop and metaphorically slap yourself in the face for complaining? Well, give yourself a pat on the back neck time for recognizing it, and making a change. We can complain about a situation for countless hours, but it probably wouldn’t do much good. We can make a choice to handle our annoyance/frustration/emotion in another way. I’ve been dealing with a sticky situation for some time now, and when I find myself getting frustrated, I start thinking about the wonderful things in my life, and how this little thing can’t affect that, I won’t let it. (Okay, maybe I’ve let it bring me down a couple of times, but I’m learning!) And yes, you’re totally allowed to cry about it, but don’t let it ruin your day!
